Our Brewery

Since 2011 we have been slowly developing our range of classic Scottish Ales. It began with an idea to create a Dunfermline Ale had been lacking since the closure of the last brewery over 100 years ago. Our blond ale was born and it was created in a style which we believe offers beer drinkers of all persuasions a taste of something appealing. It is aimed at women as much as men and is both light, fragrant and maintains that classic blond ale style and flavor profile.

Our brewery and beer range is named after the Scottish patriot and King, Robert the Bruce. Our brewery was installed in mid 2013 in the town centre of Dunfermline close to the burial place of Bruce himself. We have slowly offered our growing range of beers to the public. We make very small amounts, less than 1000 litres per week, so it will never be a mainstream supermarket beer. We don’t want it to be. It is a locally handcrafted ale. Contains no additives, preservatives or chemical stabilizers. In short it is 100% natural, live beer with made with Scottish ingredients (except hops!)
